A few things to know before laptop disassembly.
 
Take apart laptop

STEP 18

Remove the screw securing the optical drive holder.
The screw is hidden under the black tape.

 
 
Replacing system board

STEP 19

Remove the optical drive holder.

   
Remove PC card connector

STEP 20

Remove four screws securing the cardbus connector (PC card connector).

   
Lift off PC card connector

STEP 21

Turn the system board right side up.
Carefully remove the cardbus connector.

   
Removing laptop CPU

STEP 22

Unlock the CPU and lift it off the system board.

   
Disassembling laptop

STEP 23

Turn the system board upside down.
Remove two screws securing the video chip fan.

   
Remove video chip fan

STEP 24

Remove the fan cable on the system board.
Remove the video chip fan.

   
Disassemble laptop

STEP 25

DONE!
