A few things to know before you start taking your laptop apart

STEP 1
Turn the tablet PC upside down.
Remove the battery.
|

STEP 2
Remove two mask seals on the top of the display and four rabber seals on the bottom.
Remove six screws under the mask seals.

STEP 3
Use a guitar pick to separate the LCD mask and the display cover.
Move it slowly along the edge to release the mask latches. |

STEP 4
Lift off the LCD mask and remove it. |
| |
|
 |
STEP 5
Remove four screws securing the LCD screen to the display cover.
Carefully turn over the screen and place it on the palmrest.
