Remove Battery from Laptop

STEP 1

Unlock and remove the laptop battery.

Remove Modem, Memory, Wi-Fi, HDD covers

STEP 2

Remove four screws securing the modem card cover, the memory cover, the wireless card cover and the hard drive cover on the bottom of the laptop.
Remove all covers.

   
Remove Modem, Memory, Wireless card, Hard drive

STEP 3

Remove two screws securing the modem card to the motherboard. Carefully disconnect the modem card from the motherboard and disconnect the cable on the modem.
Disconnect the wireless card antenna cables and remove the wireless card.
If you have a memory stick, remove it.
Remove the hard drive.

   
Remove DVD drive

STEP 4

Remove one screw securing the DVD drive to the laptop case.
Slide the DVD drive out of the laptop.

   
Remove All Screws on Bottom of Laptop

STEP 5

Remove all marked with red circles screws.

   
Remove Keyboard Securing Strip

STEP 6

Start removing the keyboard securing strip with a sharp object.

STEP 7

Remove the keyboard securing strip.

   
Remove Screws from Keyboard

STEP 8

Remove two screws securing the keyboard.
Lift up the keyboard from the laptop base.

   
Repair laptop and notebook yourself
