STEP 1

On the front side of the screen bezel you will find four screw covers.

STEP 2

Remove all four screw covers with a sharp object.

Remove four screws found under those covers.

STEP 3

Start separating the screen bezel from the display back cover.

You'll have to wiggle the bezel in order to unlock hidden latches.

STEP 4

Remove the screen bezel from the laptop.

STEP 5

Remove two screws securing screen hinges to the back cover.

STEP 6

Now you can separate the screen from the back cover.

Place screen the front side down on the keyboard.

STEP 7

Place screen the front side down on the keyboard.

STEP 8

Remove clear tape securing the display cable connection.

Unplug display cable from the LCD screen.

STEP 9

Remove two screws securing the LCD screen to the right hinge bracket.

STEP 10

Remove two more screws securing the LCD screen to the left hinge bracket.

STEP 11

Now you can remove the damaged LCD screen and replace it with a new one.

Assemble the display by following all disassembly steps in the reverse order.
